Heat Reflective Coatings Thermobond HRC 'keeps you cool when the heat is on'. The name Thermobond HRC has significant meaning. The 'Thermo' component means it reduces heat from the sun. The 'Bond' component means it has excellent bond strength or adhesion to the roof. The 'HRC' stands for Heat Reflective (or reflectant) Coating. Thermobond HRC is available in Arctic White and eight pastel colours. A colour chart is available on request. Thermobond HRC heat reflective coating in arctic white has a high solar reflectance with a rating of 110.5 S.R.I. (Solar Reflective Index). Due to it's unique formulation, it will reflect visible, infra red and ultra violet energy from the sun as well as release heat build up quickly due to it's good emissivity . This ability enables Thermobond HRC to eliminate the majority of surface heat thus reducing the transfer heat to the substrate and surrounding roof or wall cavities. Thermobond HRC is also guaranteed for 10 years. Thermobond HRC washes up in water and safe for drinking water collection 7 days after coating. See Naturatex renders and textures. The Roofbond and Thermobond HRC roof coatings are safe for rain water collection used for drinking. As part of the application process, the down pipes are disconnected, the work is done, and the down pipes are reconnected after 7 days. |
