Cairns City Council, QLD, Australia  (Stencilshield)
Cairns City Council approached Cairns Wholesale Paints to find an easy to use flexible stencil coating for their citys' pathways and traffic islands. Existing cement based systems would fade and crack in Cairns harsh tropical climate. Cairns City Council tested Shieldcoat' Stencilshield at Cairns Wholesale Paint Store and approved it as the product they suitable to coat all of the city's paths and traffic islands. The Council tradesmen and supervisors were thrilled with it's ease of application, crack bridging ability, anti-slip properties and cost effectiveness.  The project still continues, and Stencilshield still looks great!

Bristol Paints, Albury, NSW, Australia  (Stencilshield)
Keith, Shieldcoat's Training Manager, recently flew into Albury NSW to give training to the Bristol Paint Store on Stencilshield. 

Mark Bigg from the store was trained in all aspects of Stencilshield application techniques to enable him to give training and advice to applicators.

Stencilshield has been applied as far north as Cairns and as far south as Hobart.  The photo at top left directly above was done in Hobart TAS at a nursing home where the anti-slip characteristics of Stencilshield were required on the concrete paths around the complex.  The owners of the complex were suitably impressed with the fine results!  Other pictures shown indicate the versatility of Stencilshield.  It can produce a stone look just by the technique used when applying the product.

Watercorp Western Australia  (Thermobond HRC)

                            
Themobond HRC heat reflective coating in pale green colour was coated over cement/steel water pipes at Tyco's factory for Watercorp WA.  Thermobond HRC was used as a solution to reduce the temperature of the transported water in a pipleine that returned from the desalination plant to sea water in the Indian Ocean.  Thermobond HRC solved the problem by reflecting the sun's visible, infra red and ultra violet energy from heating up the pipline and water.  Thus,  the water remained at a safe, normal temperature.

Beaudesert Council Workshop Sheds  (Thermobond HRC)

                             
Thermobond HRC heat reflective coating has been highly successful in reducing summer heat in workshops, homes and many other buildings such as the Beaudesert Shire Council Workshop Sheds.  The walls were coated in Light Moss Thermobond HRC and the roofs were coated in Thermobond HRC Arctic White.  The mechanics are very pleased with the results and no longer suffer on hot days.  Theromobond HRC works beacuse it reflects heat from the sun and releases it quickly before it can transfer through the roof or wall cavities.

Oldmac Toyota Springwood QLD  (Thermobond HRC)

Oldmac Toyota roof was a typical metal roof, hot!  The picture above shows the ease that Thermobond HRC heat reflective coating was applied.  With the aid of long airless sprayer hoses and airless spray guns with extension poles the roof was coated in no time.  Overspray was non-exsitent, and just as well, as there was brand new vehicles down below. While the roof was being coated with Thermobond HRC, the workers at Oldmac Toyota remarked on the difference as results were noticed immediately.  The building was much cooler and this was felt by all working in the shed.   Cool!
 

Goldmine Poly Pipeline  (Thermobond HRC)

 
A black poly pipeline running to a gold mine near Bundaberg QLD had a water temperature that was boiling.  A previous solution was tried using a white plastic wrap, but this failed to keep the water cool in the pipeline.  Thermobond HRC heat reflective caoting was the solution that worked!  Thermobond HRC was sprayed in 2 coats over a tac coat of special solvent sealer (developed by Shieldcoat for the project).  The piped water came out at normal tap temperature after the coatings had been applied.  The trade applicators spraying the coatings even used the painted pipe to sit on for their lunch as it was the cool to touch and the only cool spot in the area!

Virginblue Airlines Brisbane Qld

At the Brisbane Airport Terminal for Virginblue Airlines you will find NaturaTex Textureshield.  Yes, Textureshield interior/exterior paint was selected to paint the red areas shown in the sign. Due to the the low gloss level and unique colour that was chosen, Textureshield was the best soloution.

Tilt Slab walls on this site at Kedron Emergency Services office were cracked and allowing moisture into the inside of the building.  This moisture ingress was causing damage to interior wall finishes and had to be rectified.  NaturaTex Naturapatch was used to fill the cracks as it is strong and remains flexible to withstand substrate movement.  One coat of Naturaprime was then airless sprayed to prepare the surface.  Two coats of Textureshield exterior render paint was then airless sprayed on to the surface to give an attractive finish and make it waterproof.  Textureshield used here was also tinted a bright unique colour and again provided a viable soloution!
  

SBS Weeks Adelaide SA relocatable home

SBS Weeks in Adelaide manufacturers of relocateable homes had their render team apply NaturaTex textures to a test the product on one of their transportable homes.  Naturapatch Coarse was used on the joins, a skimcoat of Alfresco polymer texture was trowelled over the fibre cement sheeting and then overcoated with a coloured Alfresco Graincoat polymer texture.  The finish was great and did this team work quick!
 Alfresco Graincoat is easy to apply and float to a smooth finish as the applicators at SBS Weeks found out.  All NaturaTex Alfresco textures be coloured with no need to paint after it is applied.   Shieldcoat has finishes suit all substrates including polystyrene systems, and solutions for out of the ordinary jobs.    

 Unit Project at Greenslopes Brisbane QLD

A large set of units at Greenslopes Brisbane were recently coated with NaturaTex.  The skilled render team applied NaturaTex Daudeat HB cement render over the blockwork in preparation for the Alfresco Graincoat polymer texture to follow.  Alfresco Graincoat was tinted to the chosen colour prior to use to make painting as easy as one coat of Textureshield render paint to finish the job. Alfresco Graincoat polymer texture was trowelled and floated smooth over the Daudeat HB.  Then, a rolled coat of Textureshield in the chosen colour was applied over the tinted Alfresco Graincoat to produce excellent results. NaturaTex polymer textures are very easy to use and due to less number coats, they provide great solutions to common substrate systems.
